 My bedside Lamp is plain Black. It needed a revamp.So, with the Self Adhesive Wallpaper that I bought to revamp my Filing Cabinet. I decided it was time to organise all my papers that pile up over time. So, I looked on ebay and managed to buy a second hand Filing Cabinet for $25. The Just Married Bunting is done. I used a Cream Upholstery fabric for the Triangles (Template here) It was perfect, cause the edges don't fray. Stenciled the Letters & Painted them Black with Burgundy Hearts. Then Folded Black ribbon, pinned the triangles in place & sewed. Really enjoyed making them....so easy to do. :-) The Just Married Bunting will go on the back of our car.

My mum and I have been on a Healthy Eating Plan/Detox by Dr John Tickell this week. Homemade Soup was made & comsumed for 2 days...Lunch & Dinner. The garden has been on my mind lately. We aren't replanting until Late February, So I've been writing a list of what to replant.  In the Garden at the moment we have alot of Cherry Tomatoes! Yesterday, We ventured to Tamborine Mountain. The Clouds were low and it was raining, but it was great to get out of the house. The Botanic Gardens were lovely... Our Organic Burpless Cucumber vine has gone wild. We are getting SO many Cucumbers. \ We put a box out the front with... Been keeping busy these holidays, Monday found us at Emerald Lakes Golf Club.We had a go on their Mini Golf course,Only $5 each for 18 holes. Then enjoyed a lunch in their Restaurant. Tuesday, Pacific Fair Cinema has a $9.50 special.So we went and saw "Despicable Me"which we enjoyed. There is nothing better,  then stepping out the back and picking Fresh Homegrown... Tasty Pumpkin, Delicious Tomatoes, We had alot more..but we ate them ;-) Passionfruits, And creating a new garden bed.We have Beetroot, Snowpeas and Potatoes in there so far.Next we are starting a worm farm. :-)It's good for the soul and healthy for the body!Win, Win. Without a doubt, the most amazing experience in Paris was seeing the Eiffel Tower.We went on a cruise down the river which started in Daylight and ventured into the night.As we went under the Bridge near the Tower,it was at that moment the Eiffel Towers lights sparkled like diamonds in the night! We celebrated 2 Birthdays this week....my partners and mine. Baked these "Vanilla cupcakes with Lemon Filling and Meringue Frosting" with the help of my son.We had alot of fun baking them...was definately a challenge.We didn't follow the recipe exactly, but they still turned out YUM.The recipe was Cupcake 23 on this site.Why do they never look like the recipe picture. lolohwell, no need...they were delicious. Definately an occassional Treat!! :-)

Lucernce, Switzerland....the experiences we had in Switzerland were definately a major highlight of the tour. We saw the Lion Monument in Lucerne. Then we ventured up Mt Pilatus in the gondola lift. On the way up, the views were amazing.We were so excited that we were going to be in the snow. Once at the top...we noticed these icicles. Went for a walk around

Made by my son. :-)Went to the fridge to get a cupcake the next day and all the marshmallows were missing. lol My son started creating "Army Invitations" for his Birthday in December. He's just gotta finish them now. Plenty of time. ;-)

Well, not alot of photo's were taken in Rome...the reason being, it was raining the whole time we were there. But it was still fantastic to see! The Colosseum was fascinating. Outside.And Inside. Travi Fountain, features the statue of Neptune.We tossed a coin in. :-) Beautiful. And after a fantastic & fun night out....and afew too many drinks. ;-)This is the type of photo you end up with. haha
