Gotta Love a SALE

I went shopping to Robina the other day, I had written a list of items I had to get for the Tasmania Trip. I was especially after some 3/4 length Denim Jeans. Well, It was dangerous...as I approached my favourite clothing store "Autograph". I saw they were having a Mid Season SALE.

Once you enter, you just know you can't walk out with just one item.
That's why it's so dangerous. lol Luckily I had just cashed all my silver coins in at the bank...
which came to $125. So I was ready to spend it.

I purchased... Black CROP COMFORT DENIM JEAN. Was $59.99 Now $19.99.
Tempt to get the Jean in Indigo colour too. Was $59.99 Now $19.99 (now ordered online. lol)
They are so comfortable on and a perfect fit.
We plan on doing ALOT of walking during the Tassie Trip...
so comfortable pants are a must have.
I am very much a "Dress" girl...but these I will wear.

And well...with everything under $20...I didn't stop there.
I bought the Black 3/4 Sl Lace drape cardi. Was $69.99 Now $19.99
Black Skirt Maxi Rib Waist Skirt. Was $79.99 Now $19.99
The Tribal Print Maxi Skirt. Was $69.99 Now $19.99
Also the 3/4 Sleeve Jacquard Detail Cardi Was $69.99 Now $19.99

So, All the above items costs $120 (rounded up)
That gave me a total saving of $290. WOW.
BARGINS!!

And the best thing about it,
is that my Coins that I had saved for the last 6 months paid for the lot. :-)

Tasmania Road Trip

Picture is from Apollo Motorhomes website.

I woke up oneday Sunday morning,
not much was happening that day.
Started looking into our Tasmania Road Trip...
costs, camps, dates etc...

Told the family all the details & next minute
we were booking. lol

We all decided that the Easter Holidays
would be a perfect time : 1st April - 10th April.

So, I booked our Return Flights for the 4 of us
(Hubby & I, Son, Nan) on Jetstar.

Then, I booked a 6 Berth Euro Deluxe Apollo
Motorhome. (Similar to the one above)

Over the past weeks,
Hubby & I worked out which way we would travel.
My Mum & I have been planning places to visit. etc..
Map below.
Starting at Hobart & Ending at Hobart.

All the places we will be staying overnight are listed below.
Except Launceston, we just visit, not stay.

Bought "Camps 6" Book. It's fantastic.
A Must have if you are traveling in Australia.

It has detailed maps, directions & what is at each camp.
Some camps have alot, others not much.
Like Toilets, Free or Fees, Picnic tables, bbqs,
Shade, Water, Dump Point and alot more.
Also booked our National Parks Holiday Pass.
So we don't have to pay to get into the parks as we go.
So yeah...wow...I am still shocked that we booked so quick. lol
We have a list of places to visit
and first up is the Cabury Chocolate Factory. (Sons request) hehe
Hubby has put in for 2 weeks holidays & got the okay.
So all is good....we are all really looking forward to it. :-)

Revamped Lamp

My bedside Lamp is plain Black. It needed a revamp.
So, with the Self Adhesive Wallpaper that I bought to revamp my Filing Cabinet.
(No I still haven't revamped the filing Cabinet...will soon though)

Started by measuring & cutting the Wallpaper.
Then slowly took the backing off.
Pressed it down as I turned the Lamp Shade.

Trimmed the edges.
And the finished Lamp....

Love it!
